During trAinFS you'll attend three trainings. On the application form, you have the opportunity to choose the trainings you wish to attend, and we will do our best to accommodate your choice.

First workshop slot - Target group: all volunteers
During this workshop, we will raise awareness, deconstruct some harmful ideas, and learn how to create safe spaces for people we work with or meet in our everyday lives. We will learn about the concept of personal integrity and the principles of safeguarding in order to be more effective during personal and professional sensitive situations. We will practice non-violent communication techniques that can be useful for anyone in various situations.

In this workshop, we’ll explore fun and practical strategies to help you handle life’s curveballs like a pro. Second workshop slot - Target group: advanced volunteers
1) The meaning of volunteering
In the first section of this track, we will discover the concept of volunteer work; the message and meaning behind it from different perspectives. We will use this opportunity to shape our understanding of volunteering and identify skills and benefits from it.
2-3) Professional and personal yield of volunteering
In the second part of the track, we will focus on two main objectives; the professional and personal gains that come from volunteering. First, we will talk about transferable skills and participate in a tailor-made soft skill-building activity. Then, we will dive into the topics of motivation, career calling and personal fulfilment.

Second workshop slot - Target group: all volunteers
The goal of the training is to deepen participants' global competencies, including cultural awareness, intercultural communication, and critical thinking. Through interactive sessions, participants will explore different perspectives and develop their empathy and problem-solving skills through practical examples and situational exercises.
Throughout the day, special attention will be given to responsible citizenship and sustainable thinking. By the end of the training, participants will be able to navigate global challenges more consciously and confidently.
Second workshop slot - Targer group: all volunteers

I'm an HR who recruits globally, and I will teach you all the tricks to make your chances much higher. This session is about perfection! here we unlock the art of crafting an exceptional resume that shows why you are the best candidate.
It is a workshop that will take you from A to Z. We will cover CV mistakes, vacancy analysis, tailoring your CV, achievements phrasing, and much more. You will get the chance to work on your own CV with instant feedback on it. And you will learn how to use AI to your advantage.
You will have the opportunity to openly ask all the questions you have about job hunting and your career in general. By the end, you will be able to have a full practical process to use for every vacancy you want to apply to, with easy templates to use.
You will need your laptop for this workshop. Also, Make sure to print out (or have it digitally) your latest CV/Resume, and the latest opportunity you applied to. We have some work to do!

Community building is part of our lives, our jobs, and our support system. The same can be said about teamwork as well, but how do they come together? In this workshop, we will explore and practice teamwork techniques that can be useful at school, at work, or any other situation, and then we will start scaling it up until we reach a thriving community.
