AFS Japan (AFS Intercultural Programs, Japan)

AFS Japan, member of the international network AFS Intercultural Programs, is a voluntary, non-governmental, and non-profit organization that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world.  As of 2023, more than 500,000 people have participated in exchange programs operated by the AFS network.

Through this program, AFS Japan will provide you with intercultural learning experience in Japan as the implementing agency in close collaboration with the MOFA, Embassies, and Consulates-General of Japan. AFS Japan arranges not only the orientations and theme activities during the program but also your round-trip international transportation through third party service providers and secured secondary travel medical insurance for your reliable stay in Japan.
