OUR MISSION STATEMENT
All students will be provided with a comprehensive school counseling program that focuses on Academic, Career and Social/Emotional Development. Throughout this program, students will acquire knowledge and skills that will lead to lifelong success in society. The school counseling program's mission is to help create and support an equitable environment for all students.
Mrs. Randall received her Bachelor's of Science in Education degree and her Master of Science in School Counseling degree from Missouri Baptist University. She received her Master of Educational Administration degree from Southwest Baptist University. This will be her 20th year in education and her 13th year as a school counselor. Mrs. Randall is married and has one daughter. Mrs. Randall enjoys walking, reading, learning about essential oils, trying new recipes, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. O'Brien received her Master of Arts in School Counseling from Bradley University. Mrs. O'Brien comes to Rogers after 20 years in Jr. & Sr. High ministry. Mrs. O'Brien is married and has two children. Her youngest just left for college. Mrs. O'Brien enjoys cooking with her daughter, traveling with her husband, and socializing with her very large family in St. Louis.
Our school counseling program includes:
1. CURRICULUM consists of classroom lessons and large group presentations
2. INDIVIDUAL PLANNING consists of lessons and activities that help students plan, monitor, and manage their education now as well as their educational and career goals
3. RESPONSIVE SERVICES consists of activities and interventions to meet the immediate needs of students
4. SYSTEM SUPPORT consists of ongoing education and professional development in a continual effort of improving the school counseling program
