Bob Tinsley
PrincipalWelcome to Kingsley...
Thank you for taking the time to find out more about our school. I am privileged to lead Kingsley Academy as Principal, and extremely proud of the phenomenal achievements that the school has secured in the last 2 years. We have now placed in the top 15% of schools in the country nationally, for two years in row, for Progress 8. This means that our students at the end of their GCSE studies make more progress from their starting points than students do elsewhere. Our school is quickly gaining an excellent reputation across Hounslow and West London, as a place where excellent teaching and strong support means that students achieve the strongest possible grades at GCSE and at A Level.
Our students are our absolute strength. They are overwhelmingly polite, respectful and hard-working. At Kingsley Academy, we are big believers, in instilling 'good old fashioned values' of respect, hard work and kindness in our students. We expect our students to work hard and behave well both inside and outside the classroom. This is evident in our students attitude towards learning, their respectful and polite manner towards each other, and in their interactions in the local community.
It is well known that exam grades will change the lives of the students we serve and this year we have demonstrated significant improvements. This has resulted in our year 13 students leaving this year to some of the most prestigious universities, including The University of Oxford, Edinburgh, and King’s College. Our staff work incredibly hard to deliver these results and I am sure, knowing the hard work and dedication that they put in every day, these will only go from strength to strength.
Our students are overwhelmingly polite, respectful and hard-working, and they uphold our values that we follow in all that we do. Our values underpin our behaviour policy and we have disruption free classrooms that allow teachers to teach everyday.
My aim as the Principal of Kingsley Academy is to equip every student with the knowledge, skills and opportunities that they need to be successful in life. As always at Kingsley Academy, we will do this in a supportive yet exciting environment.
In order to get a true sense of our remarkable school, I urge you to organise a visit to see our school in action. If you would like to arrange a visit, then this can be arranged by contacting, Julie Traynor, PA to the Principal by Email: click here who will be happy to arrange a suitable time.
Yours faithfully,
Bob Tinsley
Principal
