Higher Education
What is Higher Education?
A bachelor's degree, like a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or a Bachelor of Science (BSc) - normally 3 years but can be 4 years if taken with a foundation year or part-time
A foundation degree is a combined academic and vocational qualification in higher education, equivalent to two thirds of an honours bachelor's degree
A degree apprenticeship is designed in partnership with employers and part-time study takes place at a university or college, with the rest of your time being with your employer. they provide an opportunity to gain a full bachelor's degree
HNC (Higher National Certificate) and HND (Higher National Diploma) - these are both work-related higher education qualifications
Consider higher education if...
You have a passion for learning and a strong interest in continuing your education
You are interested in a career that requires a degree-level qualification
