Law Enforcement
By conducting interviews with various law enforcement members of the Auburn community, we have learned crucial information regarding the extreme dangers of alcohol, drug, and physical abuse in hopes of better informing ourselves and the rest of the community.
The law enforcement in our community is extremely dedicated to bettering the lives of Cayuga County citizens. They work diligently to solve problems regarding alcohol, drug, and physical abuse, and focus on informing others of the dangers and consequences of such abuse.
As with any research project, the most valuable source of information regarding our topic was the people who had direct experience with it.
In early January, we conducted an interview with District Attorney Jon Budelmann and Sheriff David Gould. They have provided us with first-hand evidence of the dangers and consequences of drug and alcohol abuse as felt by the law enforcement of the Central New York community.
