One of Greece's national days

On the 28th October every year we celebrate one of our most important national days. On this day in 1940, the Prime Minister of Greece, Ioannis Metaxas denied Benito Mussolini's request to allow Italian troops to cross the border into Greece. Thus, on this day every year parades are organised all over Greece as well as celebrations in all schools the previous day.  Here are some photos from this year’s celebration in our school.
