World Water Day

March 22nd

This year, World Water Day had as its backdrop "Water for Peace".

At this time in which we live, with droughts in some countries, torrential rains in others, wars and conflicts, the importance of water for all of us is increasingly realized.

To celebrate this day, students were asked to write poems about water and then illustrate them.

Art and Water = Wat@rt

In Catalonia, children have crafted and recorded short, illustrated videos reciting original poems dedicated to water. The session has been wonderfully interactive, brimming with poetry, creativity, art, and profound messages highlighting the marvels of water.

In Portugal, In Portugal, in addition to the poems and illustrations, the celebration took place throughout the week.

During the week, classes went to the library to carry out various activities and games about water and On Friday, we ended the week and the celebrations, with a field trip to the Ria de Alvor, where students raised awareness about the importance of water, go canoeing and clean up the beach.
