We also get to express ourselves during recess using chalk!
Mime Show: Students watch as a mime visits and uses only his facial expressions and body language to communicate with us!
Timkin Museum: Students visit the Timkin Museum in Balboa Park to learn about how artists use color and shapes to communicate feelings and ideas.
Sumu's Stories: Students listen to a story and act out the motions with their bodies.
Final Assessment: Students work in groups to show an emotion (happy, sad, mad, excited, nervous) using only non-verbal communication (writing, art, dance, music, sign language)
