Noises THAT GUINEA PIGS MAKE:
Rumble strutting
Shrieking
Chatting
Purring
Chirping
Teeth chattering
Teeth grinding
Whining
Snoring
Believe it or not, a younger guinea pig paired with an older guinea pig is an excellent match, because it helps to establish a natural bond!

Some facts about socializing and bonding:
BOYS GUINEA PIGS ARE TYPICALLY MORE FRIENDLY THAN GIRLS.
You want to make sure that you do NOT end up with breeding a pair or a pregnant female.
Be patient with your guinea pigs
When they are excited they do something called "popcorning" which involves jumping and kicking their feet in the air and spinning.
Guinea pigs hide because that is how they play.
They are most active during dusk and dawn.
If you have a male, you will want another male.
If you have a female, you will want another female.
The more time you invest in a pet, the more you get back;
Interaction works both ways! This doesn't necessarily mean cuddle time, but time spent talking to guinea pigs, just watching them and discovering the world and new things from a guinea pig perspective.
Peruvian and teddy breeds are noted for sweet, cuddly dispositions; they are the best breed to bond with or they get along the most efficiently.
