The transition to 6th grade is an exciting time because it is the FIRST time students can take a daily class dedicated to learning an instrument or singing in an ensemble !
As a part of a well-rounded curriculum, Springbrook music students participate in fun activities with students who share similar interests in singing or playing an instrument. Students in band, orchestra and choir perform concerts on stage at the Adrian High School Performing Arts Center. Our middle school ensembles also perform at festivals and community events.

Choir
6th grade choir members receive instruction on singing technique and vocal ensemble essentials. Students learn a variety of music for concert performances and choir festivals. They study music theory, sight reading, and basic composition. The skills they gain support them throughout their experience at APS, and prepare them for a variety of singing opportunities in the performing arts.
