“THE USBORNE BOOK OF WORLD HISTORY”
This history book contains information about world events spanning from the beginning of man including images and remnants from a prehistoric time of man, to history that happened less than 10 years ago. The book includes events from every major and minor country, with evidence such as photos and citations from witnesses of said events, such as tools marking back hundreds of years and live witnesses of the 9/11 attacks. These events are wide in variety and very different on purpose. The book's main purpose is to show markings that have happened throughout history no matter where in the world show the process and tribulations of man. A world history book was chosen to represent knowledge, because the book holds information about the world that is backed by hundreds of years of research and studies to show what has happened in the world. This book differs from belief and opinion, because the context of the book is one hundred percent provable, and truly happened. The book is a form of knowledge and not belief because the event of the holocaust, happened. We know it happened because there are things such as body remains, clothes, and live witnesses to attest to the event for example. It differs from opinion, because to see major landmarks in humans and even consider them as not the truth, and as an opinion is arrogant. One can not deny physical evidence and words from people that have been in these events without having to have been affected by an outside force, such as negligence, ignorance, lack of knowledge, and false truth.
“THE QURAN”
The Quran, also under the alias “Qur’an,” or “Koran,” is the religious text of Islam, believed by Muslims to be the link between our world and God by revelations he wrote. It is arranged in 114 chapters and verses. The Quran states that the prophet Muhammad was told the events of the Quran by God, over the span of 23 years. It conveys messages of family betterment , reincarnation, and ancient deities such as God, the angel Gabriel, and Muhammad. Like other religions such as Christianity, and Judaism, the Quran is meant to be the answer of life 's biggest questions. Why are we here, and what's next? It leans heavily on the ladder. The Quran states that on Judgement day, you will be reincarnated if you take the word of God as true. Similar to other religions' holy books, there is no proof of anything in this book. We have no proof that God told Gabreial to tell Muhamad it is a good word. No one in the world knows who actually wrote the Quran. It's left to the assumption that it was written by God. To even want to take the word as true, you must believe in God which also has no proof. The main point of any holy book and religion as a whole is to calm people down with the thought of death. No one wants to just say we’re going to die and there's nothing after. Death is an abyss. It's terrifying. Religion is in the same vein as therapy. It calms people down without actually proving that its word can be taken as the truth. That part is important because it leaves the word up to what you want to believe. If you choose to take it as true, you can. If you want to take it as false, you can. The fact that you have this choice in the first place, means it is not knowledge because you can't choose to believe in knowledge. The Quran is not opinion, because it's up to interpretation to believe it, not to have an opinion on it.
“SUSHI”
Sushi is a traditional Japanese dish most likely formed with vinegared rice, usually with some sugar and salt, accompanied by a variety of ingredients, such as seafood, often raw, and vegetables. Sushi was chosen but it could be interpreted by any food. Sushi in the last decade has become more popular in the west, let alone many other countries because of its relatively easy assemblage, and flavorful taste. It's left up to your interpretation if the food is good depending on your pallet. Your taste in food could vary for a multitude of reasons such as location, culture, and upbringing. If you were raised in an area, let's say Japan, or California, where Sushi is extremely prominent, you will probably grow to enjoy it because of the time you've had to form an opinion about it. If you were born in an area where it's not popular, you probably won't like it. Sushi is up to interpretation if you like it or not. Liking Sushi, let alone any food, is not knowledge and is opinion, because it's different from person to person whether they will enjoy it or not. Sushi is not a prominent force to see in the world like a major event or religion, it's a food you decide to enjoy or not. Sushi is not a belief, because you eat it. You don't do anything else with it like the basics of religion. You don't worship, pray, or get answers from sushi. The main answer to the difference between knowledge, belief and opinion is a question with many answers. Knowledge is something that we know for certain that is backed by evidence and. Belief is you only believe in and accept as true from different view points in life. Opinion is a judgment you make on an individual object based on upbringing, culture, and shared interest from said object. Each one is different and the three make up everything around us in this world.
