tahfidz Al-Qur'an examination 

Purwakarta, (January 20, 2025) – Dozens of students from SMP 1 Purwakarta participated in the tahfidz Al-Qur'an examination (munaqosah). After undergoing intensive training from religious teachers, a total of thirty students registered for the event. The tahfidz Al-Qur'an mentors included Mrs. Siti Maesaroh, S.Pd.I, Mrs. Epa Dalva, M.Pd.I, and Mr. U. Tajudin, S.Ag.

The activity was held in a dedicated room called the "Ruang Juara" (Champion Room). Before taking part in the munaqosah, the students were briefed on the examination procedures. Following the briefing, each student was tested individually. The memorization testing was conducted by an evaluation team led by Mrs. Vera from Al-Muhajirin School. In addition to memorization, she assessed the students' fluency in reciting their memorized verses, including proper tajweed and reading accuracy.

This event was part of a series of activities to celebrate the school's anniversary. Students who pass the munaqosah will be officially graduated during the peak celebration of the school's anniversary on January 30, 2025.
