Social Service as a Reflection of Spensa's Empathy 

Still as part of the anniversary celebration, SMP Negeri 1 Purwakarta organized a social service activity by providing assistance to a secondary school in the Bojong area, Purwakarta. The aid consisted of food, books, clothing, meals, and cash donations. Through the school representatives, the aid was directly handed over to students in need. Meanwhile, for the school itself, SMP Negeri 1 Purwakarta provided assistance in the form of wall paint.

The donations were collected from the students, staff of SMP Negeri 1 Purwakarta, and their parents. Almost all students of SMP Negeri 1 Purwakarta contributed donations, whether in the form of cash, food, clothing, or writing and reading books. In addition to being part of the school’s anniversary series, this social service activity also reflects one of the school’s mottos, "Empathy," which is part of the Spensa HEBAT acronym (Honesty, Empathy, Brilliant, Amazing, Talented). This was directly conveyed by Mr. Rd. Juliadi, M.Pd, the supervising inspector of SMP Negeri 1 Purwakarta, prior to departure.

The aid was directly delivered by the principal, teachers, OSIS representatives, and committee representatives. The handover ceremony took place in the hall due to drizzling weather. Nevertheless, the donation event was conducted in a warm and communal atmosphere. Through this activity, it is hoped that a closer relationship between schools can be established.
