OPENING of masantren at school

All students of SMPN 1 Purwakarta participated in the opening of the "Masantren di Sakola" program. The opening event was held virtually through a live broadcast on the Linuhung TV YouTube channel.

The opening ceremony took place in two locations: the school field and the school hall. On the field, students watched via a Megatron TV, while in the hall, they followed the event through a projector.

The opening of Masantren di Sakola was directly inaugurated by the Head of the Purwakarta Department of Education, Mr. Dr. Purwanto. In his speech, he encouraged everyone to make the most of Ramadan, a month full of blessings, by increasing both spiritual and social good deeds, such as performing sunnah prayers, dhikr, helping others, loving the environment, and caring for and assisting parents. Additionally, he addressed the policy of prohibiting students from bringing mobile phones to school.

The Masantren di Sakola program will run for one week, from March 13 to 20, 2025. During this time, students will engage in religious activities at school, including Islamic studies, Quran recitation, Tasmi of Juz 30, and writing Mushaf.
