Brighteen Media Contribution Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the submission and use of creative works ("Contributions") by individuals to Brighteen Media ("Brighteen"). By submitting your Contribution, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before submitting your work.

1. Eligibility

1.1 You must be a current student or a member of the school community to submit a Contribution.

2. Ownership and Rights

2.1 You retain ownership of your Contribution. However, by submitting it to Brighteen, you grant Brighteen a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display your Contribution in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your Contribution.

2.2 You agree that Brighteen may use your Contribution in the school magazine, art gallery, and other media platforms associated with Brighteen.

3. Usage and Attribution

3.1 Brighteen will make reasonable efforts to provide proper attribution to you as the creator of the Contribution. However, you agree that Brighteen may use your Contribution without attribution in cases where it is not reasonably practicable to do so.

4. Originality and Copyright

4.1 You warrant that your Contribution is an original work created by you and that it does not infringe upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other personal or proprietary rights.

5. Content Guidelines

5.1 Contributions must not contain any material that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. Brighteen reserves the right to reject any Contribution that it deems inappropriate.

6. Deadline and Review

6.1 Contributions will be accepted until the stated deadline. Brighteen reserves the right to review and select Contributions for publication at its discretion.

7. Modifications and Edits

7.1 Brighteen may make reasonable modifications or edits to your Contribution for purposes of clarity, grammar, style, or format.

8. Withdrawal of Contribution

8.1 If you wish to withdraw your Contribution from consideration after submission, you must notify Brighteen in writing. However, Brighteen may have already used your Contribution in accordance with these Terms.

9. Release and Waiver

9.1 By submitting your Contribution, you release and discharge Brighteen from any claims or liabilities arising out of or in connection with the use of your Contribution.

10. Governing Law

10.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Republik Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

11. Entire Agreement

11.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Brighteen with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior discussions, negotiations, and agreements.
