ADM District Contest: February 23rd

Coaches:

We are very excited to host District Individual Contest on February 23rd. Below you will find details about the day.

Bus Drop-off and Parking:

Buses can unload in the circle drive on the West side of the school. After unloading, buses should be parked in the back gravel parking lot (East side of building). We will have a bus drivers area. Inquire in the main office.

Headquarters:

The High School Office will serve as our headquarters for the day. Please come in and introduce yourself as well as leaving a contact number in case we need to get ahold of you. Please also bring any drops to the office that haven’t already been reported.

South Gym:

We will be hosting camp for the teams in the South Gym (smaller gym). Please remind your students of no drinks/food in the gym and to please clean up after themselves to keep our school looking nice!

Schedule:

The schedule will posted on the website. If you are having trouble figuring out your school code, please contact me. There are typically a large number of drops during Individual District contest. Please advise your students to check their rooms right away and tell audience members to arrive early!

Radio News Announcing: The time list is the performance time. Their prep time is 30 minutes before their performance time. They should report to the library for their prep time.

Substitutions:

If you need to substitute a performer, please bring your completed White Card to the High School office.

Good Reminders for Parents and Performers:

There will be a donation box when you enter the doors. Please remind your parents as this money directly supports ADM Speech. We also will have a great concession stand so plan on eating at the school! Food needs to stay in the Middle school commons area. No food or drinks in the gym.

*No photography/videos may be taken without permission from the State Office. You will be asked for written/email verification of this. *

Ballots:

Be sure to bring a ballot for each performance. Any ballots forgotten may be printed for .25/each. You may pick up your ballots after all your scores have been posted. If you cannot stay until they are posted, you may leave a self-addressed stamped envelope and I’d be happy to mail them.
