Partner Feedback - Fall 2018

The process for developing our Kavli Lecture Series is refined after each iteration, and this lecture's path suggested that we need to make some educated and deliberate decisions earlier in the next lecture's timeline. These decisions include choosing the best day of the week for the lectures, determining the version of Uniview we'd broadcast in, figuring out how early to send media assets, and planning when to provide the lecture bundle to our partners. To educate these decisions, we sent our partners the following feedback survey when asking for their their attendance numbers and photos. 21 of our 25 partners participated in the survey.

This information is for Adler's internal decision-making only, please do not publish or reference it externally without contacting the Project Manager (Steve Burkland).

  • This was the best one yet!
  • I'm so thankful that we can join in on this great lecture series, please keep doing these and sharing with the greater uniview community.
  • Having participated in all six of the Kavli lectures thus far, they have been a great addition to the Community Education courses offered to the Rochester Minnesota community. Thanks for doing these lectures.
  • Thanks for putting on a fantastic program and being super helpful with getting it running!
  • This lecture went flawlessly. The technical problems were worked out ahead of time. I appreciated the schedule being published on when we would have our bundles. I think this contributed to how smoothly the lecture went, because it motivated the production team to do as much possible ahead of time. Dr. Larson was a fantastic speaker, and the visuals were really beautiful. I think having a project manager for these lectures has really improved the process for the partner sites. I feel more confident in advertising them and talking about how great they will be, because I am not worried about crashes or problems with last minute changes to the bundles. I'm very grateful to be involved. Thank you for offering these to the community - I'm looking forward to the next one!
  • I think this was the smoothest presentation yet, no hiccups or technical issues to report! Also, the speaker was really great. This is more of a question for SCISS perhaps, but it would be really great to have an inset box with a video stream of the presenter.
  • As always - a great experience. Thank you for doing this!
  • Thanks for the great support and for involving us!
  • We would be very likely to participate in another lecture if there is a domecast for Digistar users.
  • Thank you for this opportunity.
  • I am sorry that we don't have Uniview, a fast internet connection, or can even access google docs on our Firewall, but I love the lectures and always seem to learn so much from the topics given. Thanks for making them available!
  • We won't be participating again primarily because of the effort involved in solving technical issues associated with displaying on a flat screen (as opposed to full dome) is not worth the attendance numbers we typically receive for the program.
