ABOUT:

Library & Information Centre is the knowledge hub of the institution, supporting learning, teaching, and research activities. It provides access to a rich collection of print and digital resources for students, faculty, and researchers.

The library promotes reading habits, lifelong learning, and academic excellence through quality collections, e-resources, databases, digital repositories, and user-focused services in a technology-enabled environment. It also offers information literacy programs, reference services, and online access to support the evolving educational and research needs of its users. Committed to knowledge dissemination and innovation, the library plays an important role in achieving the vision and mission of the institution.

VISION:

To support, strengthen, and enhance the teaching, research, and learning programs of Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research.

MISSION:

The library is committed to empowering future educators, scholars, and researchers by providing inclusive and equitable access to knowledge, diverse resources, and emerging technologies. It strengthens teaching and learning through dynamic collections, advanced research support, and innovative digital services; promotes critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning; and supports the advancement of educational leadership and policy through information literacy, collaboration, and active scholarly engagement. 

KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE LIBRARY:

• The library is established with a 850 sq. mts. carpet area.

• Seating capacity is available for 120 users at a time.

• The library is fully automated with “Libsoft” Library Management Software.

• The entire library premises are under CCTV surveillance for security and monitoring.

• A well-established Digital Library with 10 computers and internet access is available for accessing digital resources.

• The library holds memberships with: HELINET and NDLI (National Digital Library of India).

Saturday           : 9:00 AM-12:30 PM

Circulation Time : 9:30 AM-04:00 PM/ 12:00 PM
