2025-2026 School Calendar
Dear A.D. Henderson & Florida Atlantic University High School Faculty and Staff,
As we close out the 2025–2026 school year, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank each of you for the commitment, passion, and heart you pour into this organization every single day. This year has been nothing short of extraordinary, and it is because of the collective efforts of this team.
When we began this school year together, we talked about the power of a team. We discussed the idea that truly transformational work does not happen when people simply “do their jobs,” but when people come together around a shared purpose and commit themselves fully to something greater than themselves. This year, you embodied that vision in every possible way.
You challenged students academically while also building relationships that made them feel seen, supported, and valued. You created classrooms and programs filled with innovation, creativity, rigor, and joy. You coached teams, sponsored clubs, directed performances, supervised events, tutored students, supported families, solved problems, covered for one another, and continuously stepped up whenever our students or school needed you.
Because of your work, our students achieved unparalleled success this year. We saw exceptional student achievement this year, including some of the strongest state assessment results in school history, continued success in advanced coursework, impressive performances in athletics and competitions, and remarkable accomplishments across every grade level and program. Beyond academics, you helped shape students of strong character, resilience, compassion, and leadership. The culture that exists on this campus is not accidental. It is the direct result of the people in this organization and the example you set for students every day.
This year also brought tremendous recognition for our school community and the incredible people who make it so special. From being named Discovery Education School of the Year to the many honors earned by our faculty and staff from the university, the state, and outside organizations, these recognitions reflect the innovation, excellence, and commitment that define our school. These honors are a direct reflection of the culture of excellence you have built and the meaningful work taking place across our campus every day.
This year also marked our first full year utilizing our completed Phase II spaces, and what an incredible difference those spaces have already made for our students and staff. Watching students gather in the auditorium, engage in research and innovation activities, utilize our athletic and aquatic facilities, learn in outdoor spaces, and take advantage of opportunities that simply do not exist in most schools has been incredibly rewarding. Those facilities are impressive, but what truly brings them to life is the work you do within them.
Most importantly, thank you for the sacrifices you make that often go unseen. Education is demanding work, and this team consistently gives more of itself because you care deeply about students and about one another. The long hours, the emotional investment, the flexibility, and the willingness to always do what is best for kids does not go unnoticed.
As we head into summer, I hope you take time to truly rest and recharge. You have earned it. I also hope you take pride in what we accomplished together this year because the impact you are making on students’ lives is significant and lasting.
Thank you for being the very best team. I am incredibly proud to work alongside you, and I cannot wait to see what we accomplish together next year.
With appreciation,
- Lauren Robinson
