Accessing Assignments

Starting Wednesday April 1st, Science will be structured in the following way:

1. Every Monday morning, I will post the weekly assignments to your students Science Schoology folder.
   1. The folder will be labeled with the week that we are on and the date range for the week.
2. ​Inside that weeks folder, students will need to click on the Directions link at the top of the page.
   1. This link will open up a google doc containing directions to all of the activities for the week.
   2. The students will complete all of the activities in Schoology unless the provided directions state otherwise.
3. ​The activities will need to be completed by Friday at 3:30 pm.

Mr. Sutphin and Mrs. Orotelli

During office hours, there will be two days a week where an open Zoom meeting will be hosted. Students can click the link to join the meeting and ask a question or receive support on their work. Three days a week, we will be checking our email frequently during office hours to answer questions via email.

(These office hours are set up to answer any questions the students may have - Students are not required to check in)

Sutphin

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - Contact through email from 1-3pm

Tuesday and Thursday - Zoom Meeting - Drop in at anytime during the hour to ask a question.

• 7th Grade: 9-10 am Link found in Schoology
• 8th Grade: 10-11 am Link found in Schoology

Orotelli

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - Open Zoom meeting 1-3 pm
• Wednesday and Friday - Contact through email from 1-3pm

Students will continue to be graded using Standards Based Grading Scale (1-4).

Weekly attendance will be taken Friday by 3:30 pm. Attendance will be based on class participation and completion of assignments.
