This Week:
End of Year Celebration
Tuesday May 20th 6:00 PM, MRHS Cafeteria
Practice will be held M/T/W/R/F from 3:45 PM - 5:30ish PM and Saturday's from 8:00 - 9:30ish AM (depending on the schedule)
Coaches and athletes will meet briefly in the gymnasium first for attendance and announcements, then they will go to their assigned locations outside for their training sessions
If inclement weather, practices may be held indoors
Meets will typically be on Saturday's (with a few Wednesday exceptions)
Transportation to and from meets will be the responsibility of the athlete
"Varsity" is determined via top times and marks as well as eligibility and in some cases, coaches decision and professional judgement
If student athletes are going to be absent, they MUST fill out this "Absence Notification" BEFORE practice begins @ 3:45 or it will be deemed "Unexcused". Even if a student athlete fills out the form and it is deemed to be NOT a valid reason for missing practice, that will count as "Unexcused." Example: Went to the movies.
1 "Unexcused" absence a week will forfeit the student athlete from competing that week or the next meet
2 "Unexcused" absences total will forfeit the student athlete from competing the next meet
3 "Unexcused" absences total will forfeit the student athlete from the season
If students are tardy (tardy = not in the main gym by 4:00):
ABSENCES AND TARDIES
3 Tardies = 1 UNX absence = Probation from meet
6 Tardies = 2 UNX absences = Will not compete in next meet
9 Tardies = 3 UNX absences = Will not compete in any meets
