Coach Todd is the Head Coach at Legacy and focuses on the hurdles and jumps. He was a Maryland state champion in the hurdles and state qualifier in the high jump, long jump, and triple jump. He competed in the decathlon, hurdles, jumps, and javelin for the University of Maryland and Is passionate about passing on his love of the sport to every athlete In our program!
This is his fourth year coaching at Legacy, and third as Head Coach. He’s very excited to build up our teams technical skills, perseverance, and self-confidence this season!

Coach West is a Distance Coach and Head of Administration for the Legacy Track & Field Team. She has experience both at the high school level as an athlete and coach, and at the D1 level as an athlete for XC and Track. Beyond the track she is a math teacher. This will be her 7th year with the team. She is very excited to help athletes persevere and build confidence through this sport!

Coach Lou will be joining us for a third year and taking over as our head of Sprints / Mid-Distance. He is the Head Coach for Varsity Softball at The Academy Charter School and is an Assistant Girls Varsity Basketball Coach at Holy Family HS. He was formerly Head XC Coach at Pinnacle Charter School and has over 25 years of coaching experience throughout the Metro Denver area.
A graduate of Denver West HS and played College Baseball at Trinidad State in Colorado. Coach Lou Is excited to bring his passion for instilling a sense of discipline, respect, resilience, and achievement to all of our athletes, and to empower them to reach their full potential in sports and in their personal lives!!

Starting off as a young soccer player, Coach Scott incorporated running by the time he reached 8th grade. He set records in the mile and 2 mile at his New Jersey high school, twice reached the finals of the Junior Olympics 2 mile, was first man on the Colorado College XC team, then walked on to the University of Colorado XC team and made varsity. He finished his eligibility with the Buffs as the 3rd man on the fourth-place team at NCAA D1 Nationals.
After CU, he became a professional trail runner, spending decades racing on trails and up mountains. He won the Pikes Peak Ascent 8 times and also set a new record running up the Empire State Building. In 2019, Coach Scott was inducted into the Colorado Running Hall Of Fame.

Coach Julie Kindzerski-Gray, or "Coach K", is excited to join the Legacy High School Track & Field program for her first season with the team as our throws coach. A high school Physical Education and Health teacher for 25 years, she brings extensive experience in coaching and athlete development. She has coached varsity and club volleyball and serves as a strength & conditioning coach for Juggernaut Volleyball Club. She has also worked as a personal trainer since 2000.
Coach K played college volleyball in Minnesota, and during her senior year the track team needed athletes. After being impressed by her strength and work ethic in the weight room, the coach recruited her to compete as a thrower, and she was all in! She loves helping athletes grow into confident competitors while becoming supportive, positive teammates, and looks forward to building strength, confidence, and team unity this season.

Coach Kendall will be assisting Coach Lou with the sprinters this Spring! She has been a head coach at the middle school level and also has several years of coaching soccer. She was a captain and All-Conference sprinter on her high school team, with a focus on the 100 and 200, and even begrudgingly joined the 4x400 relay team her senior year :)
