Advanced Placement U.S. History is a college-level survey course, which meets daily for the entire year. This class also gives students an opportunity to earn college credit if they can achieve a sufficiently high score on the APUSH exam in May. Students will learn the analytical skills necessary to assess historical evidence through the interpretation of primary and secondary sources. Throughout the course, students will be required to develop their reading and writing abilities. The course spans the period of time from the original settlement of North America by Europeans to the present day.
