Using the Destiny Discover App

Getting Started

Download and launch the Destiny Discover app.
Select Colorado in the Location drop-down.
Begin typing Northglenn in the School field. A list of schools will appear. Select Northglenn High School.
Make sure to check Remember me on this device. This will allow you to read downloaded books even when you are offline.
Login in with your Adams 12 Universal Login. There will also be an option to browse as a guest. This will let you see the Northglenn High School collection, but you will not be able to read or check out books if you are not logged in.

*Please note: The following examples are from the Android version of the app. Other platforms may look slightly different.

Finding a Book

There area couple of options for finding books.

1. Select Search to look for a particular title , author or subject.

*The default search will search all books, including those in the library. You can filter the search results to eBooks only, by selecting Digital from the top menu.

2. Click on eBooks to see the entire NHS eBook collection.

Checking Out Books

To checkout a book from either the results list or from the title details, select Checkout. Once you have checked out a book, you will notice the Checkout button has changed to Return. This allows you to return books before the due date.

Destiny Discover also lets you Open books for preview. To check out a book that is open, select the book icon on the top toolbar. *Please note that it is possible to read a book without checking it out, however, while you have the book open, it is unavailable to anyone else.

Reading Offline
