I encourage all the students to participate in some music activities throughout the summer whether that is a camp, private lessons or just practicing with smartmusic!

Jazz jam @ Anythink Library (Wright Farms 5877 E. 120th Ave.) would be 3/19 from 6:00-7:30pm
Denver Street Band Experience-Very COOL!!! 4/19 must register by 3/27
Colorado Honor Band Summer Camp
Jazz Band/Ensemble:
The Century Middle School Jazz Ensemble is a class in 8th grade. The Jazz Band is extracurricular (before school). The Jazz Band will rehearse on Tuesday and Thursday Mornings from 8-8:30am. Our "Comet" Jazz Band and Ensemble represent our school at jazz festivals and competitions throughout the year such as The Nutcracker @DCPA (TBD), Mile High Jazz Festival (TBD), UNC Jazz Festival (TBD). Students will be selected based on their interest, playing ability and behavior.
CU Middle School Honor Band:
This is a great opportunity to participate in the most prestigious ensemble for middle school band students!
