I am excited to be part of your child's life this year!!! I really love being a teacher and it inspires me to be the best person I can be in and out of the classroom. STEM Lab has shaped the person I am today and I hope to make an impact on your child. I enjoy facilitating students to become 21st Century thinkers and wonderful people so that this world will become even a better place to be!

Being a professionally teacher has been my career for the past 30+ years! I am a product of Adams 12 Five Star Schools and graduated from Thornton High School, got my B.A. in Communications and Theater with an emphasis in Public Relations, and a M.A. in Educational Leadership Policies and Studies. I have been a Literacy and Student Achievement Coach, an Educational Consultant, and have taught Kindergarten through 3rd Grade, coordinated and/or directed programs, and was a Chapter I/ Title I Reading Teacher. I am a proud staff member of STEM Lab and have been teaching 2nd grade since we opened!

My family comes first for me. I have 4 girls, a son in law and a grandbaby on the way. My husband, Kent and I have been married 33 years also! We have 2 large dogs named Bear and Hazel. We love nature, music, and (wild)life!
