Photography for me is more than just capturing an image, it is the unique ability to bring beauty to the world and any person or object in it. The allure of photography for me is the ability to recreate exactly what I see and that I can preserve that moment for myself and others to enjoy later on. Along with this it also affords me a unique opportunity as an artist to capture the beauty of all that lies in front of me in its purest form with my own artistic expression incorporated into it. With my BFA exhibition I am trying to show an unbiased shift from natural landscape photography to urban, in order to show the beauty that lies before all of us no matter where we are. This exhibition will be a culmination of my artistical, historical, and personal influence that I’ve developed as an artist so far.
