Resetting Password
Please use the following instructions for self-service password reset:
1. Go to password.adams.edu
2. Click the forgotten password button below the login screen (DO NOT ENTER ANYTHING ELSE BEFORE SELECTING THE FORGOTTEN PASSWORD BUTTON)
3. Put in your username and 900 or 902 number (username is everything before the @adams.edu part of your Adams' email address)
4. Select your personal email to send the link.
5. Navigate to your personal email, open the email and copy the code and paste this into the code box from the password.adams.edu page
Or select the 'Click Here' option, select 'Continue'
6. Reset your password, this must be at least 16 characters long
7. Try to signing into your Gmail account at gmail.com, to ensure your password change was submitted
If you know your current ASU password and need/want to reset it:
Go to password.adams.edu
Enter your ASU username and password
Select 'Change Password'
Reset password, must be at least 16 characters long
If you have forgotten your password and do not see your personal email listed on the password.adams.edu site: (Contact Computing Services ((719) 587-7741))
Verify confirmation of ID questions set for students and staff
Students:
Date of Birth, Major, personal phone#, and personal email.
(other options include username or 900# if they do not know the personal phone, or email).
Faculty/Staff
Date of Birth, Job title, personal phone or email on file, and ASU ID (900#)
If they do not know their 900# they will need to get a hold of HR and try to get that information, before we try to help them.
NOTE: Once confirmation of ID questions have been answered, the Helpdesk Manager will help update your home primary email so that the correct email shows up on the password.adams.edu site.
