Community Outreach
The Adams State University received funding from the Next50 Initiative to advance the efforts to educate older adults. This program supports life-long learning and personal development among older San Luis Valley residents. I have offered several field based geology workshops as part of this program. My goal is to help the participants of these workshops develop an understanding and appreciation of the complex geologic history of the San Luis Valley.
