Summary:
Region 7 (Pueblo) and Region 9 (Southwest Colorado) has higher estimates for most substance use.
More regions exceed the state estimates for vaping than for other substances.
All regions need support, however, these data show specific areas may have more need for education and resources.
In 2021:
Region 7 and 17 had higher estimates for students showing signs of depression (being sad and hopeless).
Region 7 and 14 had fewer students think their grades were better than most.
Region 14 had fewer students participate in extracurricular activities.
No regions were significantly different from the state for having an adult to talk to with a serious problem.
