Hospitality Industry – Front Desk/Customer Service Roles
I have worked in several hotels where I gained valuable experience in communication, problem-solving, and interacting with individuals from all walks of life. These roles taught me patience, professionalism, and how to effectively meet the needs of others—skills I plan to carry into clinical settings.
Babysitting Experience
I have provided care for children of various ages, including some with developmental or communication challenges. This hands-on experience gave me early insight into the importance of patience, individualized care, and the impact that encouragement and structure can have on a child’s progress and confidence.
Substitute Teaching – General & Special Education Classrooms
Currently, I work as a substitute teacher, which includes placements in special education (SPED) classrooms. This role has allowed me to observe a variety of educational and therapeutic strategies up close. It has been especially rewarding to see how collaboration between educators and specialists helps students with unique needs thrive.
