Sharing our Work
There is an expectation that you will share the work of Acts 435 with your church congregation and/or supporters - Advocates and partner churches are the best way for us to reach new donors, and for you to see your own requests met more quickly.
100% of donations made through Acts 435 goes to the people you are helping in your church/charity, and we're thankful to remain a completely free resource for you!
It's our donors that keep the charity going, and continue to make it a free resource for you. However, as more churches and charities join us, and the need across the UK continues to rise, we need your help. We have made it so simple for you to help us, with just two expectations, please click on each one for more information.
If church/charity has social media accounts there is an expectation that you will share our work via social media on a regular basis, or at least three times a year.
If your church/charity has social media accounts, then find out who administrates them so that you can pass on this information to them.
Sharing Acts 435 on social media could be as easy as re-tweeting/sharing one of our posts - we take a lot of time to put together fresh content daily, so there is always something good to share.
You can also share from your own accounts, and where you need graphics and other resources Acts 435 will provide these. You can share; good news stories of those you have helped with Acts 435 requests, figures of how many people you have helped through Acts 435 (these figures can be obtained on your dashboard), and highlight your own requests. Don't forget you can use the URL www.acts435.org.uk/RXXXXX (the R number is the reference number to the left of your requests). There are also 'share' buttons next to each request on your dashboard.
That you will share our work with your church congregations/supporter network at least once per year.
We will continue to provide resources, such as videos, for you to share with congregations on a Sunday in July, known as Acts 435 Sunday. This is the perfect opportunity to share what we do, and how our partnership with your church is impacting your local community.
However, if July doesn't suit your church calendar you can share any of our videos throughout the year, as well as any of printed resources (please see below for what is available). Christmas is an ideal time to highlight our work, for example.
If you're a charity we would expect you to share our work in another way - maybe in your monthly newsletter, by having a day dedicated to talking about our work, or by displaying our leaflets and posters.

Our donor postcard is a short summary of what we do, and encourages people to take a look at our website.
Our tri-fold leaflet includes more information about how we work and how churches and charities can get involved.
Our 10 Year Anniversary booklet includes 10 stories of people helped and stories of 10 of our partners, which is great to hand out at a special event, or if you're talking to other churches.
You can also order a roll-up banner to display in your church/charity. We ask that you contribute the cost of this, and the cost is currently around £50.
