Stem Mixing and Mastering
Stem mix & master £10 per stem
Stem mixing can be very useful as it allows the engineer to balance the mix on a calibrated reference system in an acoustically conditioned space, and if required process the stems to enhance or defeat issues at the pre mastering stage. Ideally there would be around 8-12 stems to work with to be a highly effective process, but it is still possible to work with less.
This approach will ensure the best mix can be achieved and it will provide an optimal mastered result, also saving time regarding label release schedules and quality control anxiety for label managers.
