About Wild Mastering

History and background :

After making electronic music since 1994 I qualified as an RSA level 3 sound engineer in 2000 mixing rock bands and electronic music production. This was using an SSL 4000 mixing console and Studer 2" 24 track tape, together with all analog outboard setup, and also qualified in the use of logic and sampling & synthesis. 

I then started a label (Wildthings Records) together with DJ Beardy in 2005 at which point I started travelling the world performing which is still happening today. I have performed in over 70 countries since 2003.

Helping the other artists in the label with production feedback I began honing my analysis skills and then finally after spending years mastering my own tracks for performance I finally opened Wild Mastering in 2012. 

In the last 11 years I have mastered 100's of releases for many well known labels in the psychedelic scene, and due to my reactive approach I have helped the process of artist development for many artists worldwide. 

My clients include artists, label managers and businesses in need of my skills. Also as an experienced sound designer and 3d generalist specialising in Motion Capture I have worked personally on many bespoke projects for production companies from installations to live avatars at events to hologram shows and even as a visiting lecturer at Westminster University in London teaching in the use of motion capture systems and giving practial 3D software tutorials in the classroom.
