Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy centers on helping students understand physiology as an integrated, dynamic system rather than a set of isolated facts. I emphasize connections across body systems and use case-based learning to place concepts in real-world health and disease contexts.

I prioritize active learning and scientific reasoning, encouraging students to apply knowledge, ask questions, and develop mechanistic explanations instead of relying on memorization. Laboratory experiences further support this approach by allowing students to observe physiological principles in action and connect theory to practice.

I am currently supervising an undergraduate student’s bachelor’s thesis in central nervous system histology.
