I am a journalist and communication specialist with a PhD in Health Communication from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, awarded with unanimous distinction and supported by a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation.
I also hold an MA in Communication and Culture and a BA in Journalism and Mass Media Studies from the same university, and I am a certified adult educator (EOPPEP). I have 16 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Greece and abroad, focusing on journalism and media studies, and communication.
I have worked as a researcher on European projects, as a postdoctoral researcher, and as a scientific coordinator in journalism and media education. I also have professional experience as a journalist in print and digital media, as well as a copywriter in advertising.
My research focuses on health communication, digital media, and social psychology, with publications in international peer-reviewed journals and presentations at leading academic conferences. Key areas include health literacy, misinformation, emotional and cognitive responses to health information, and health inequalities among vulnerable populations.
