Badge Evaluation Criteria

Badges represent achievement in implementing digital learning strategies. The badge form submissions will be evaluated using the four essential questions listed below.

When the answer to all four the essential questions are yes, and the artifact provides the evidence requested, the learner will earn the digital badge.

If needed, the learner will be asked to clarify or provide additional information. The goal is for all learners to earn badges.

Student Outcomes

    • Does the digital learning strategy improve outcomes for students? Tell us how it improved student learning or what you might do differently in the future to improve student outcomes.

Innovation

    • Does the digital learning strategy let your students learn in ways they couldn't (easily) learn without technology?

Curriculum Focus

    • Does the digital learning strategy engage students with appropriate learning standards?

Reflection

    • Do the reflective statements show a data informed evaluation of the effectiveness of the digital learning strategy, with consideration of refinement when needed?
