Congratulations to all our students, along with their fearless leader Ms. Fowler for an amazing winter concert! Two weeks of the month of December was dedicated to practicing for our winter show during our regular specialist times. We still got some Christmas games in for some classes. We also had a special professional soccer guest, Elma Nfor, teaching our students some fun soccer games! Below are some pictures of PE for the month of December! We started our warm-ups with "Grinch Tag." K-2nd grades played a game called "Santa's Helpers" in which they helped deliver toys to the homes of all the good boys and girls. 3rd-5th graders played "Elf Wars" in which they tried to get to the other side of the gym, steal a Letter, and get back without getting tagged. At the end of the game, the team who could spell the most Holiday/Wintry words was the winning team.
Some classes were able to do Christmas Stations! Santa Climbed the chimney (rope climb), we built gingerbread houses out of hula hoops, and some were able to build a double decker! Students trekked through the snow in their snow boots (cooperation trekkers), Elf fitness (students did hula hoops, ran laps, jumped rope, push -ups and sit-ups), and students snow boarded on our new spooners! Check out some of the fun below!!
