We started studying geography! We used the tools all great geographers use (maps, books, and of course the internet) and learned a lot of new terminology. We have had fun exploring our beautiful planet via Google Earth. We also put our skills to the test with a friendly game of Landform BINGO! Do you know the three different types of mountains? How about the three different types of valleys? Do you know the difference in a plateau and a mesa? How about the term for a cluster of islands? We do! We love being geographers!
We also created

Students put their learning into action by creating Sphero chariots. We used the engineering design process as a guide.
Spherolympics!
Next, it was time to put our chariots to the test! Students worked in teams to create five different obstacle courses.
