Students have the opportunity to check out books when their class visits the library, but we also offer open library hours daily to provide as much access as possible. We use data from student checkouts to inform collection development and what books we purchase.

The Library Media Program at Claxton supports student learning through collaboration. This can look like providing books and digital resources, planning and instructional design with classroom teachers, and direct instruction that supports inquiry skills and aligns with curriculum.
