Welcome the Asheville High/SISA Theatre Department Site.  At Asheville High School/SILSA there are classes in theatre, tech theatre, Musical theatre and many opportunities to be involved in productions afterschool as well.  We are proud members of  the International Thespian Troupe #2237.  Please explore this site to learn more.  

There are several opportunities for students to be involved in theatre at Asheville High/SILSA.   Every year we produce

• a Fall show that has open auditions to all Asheville High /SILSA students.  

• a touring show for elementary schools by our Theatre II class

• a one act to present at the NC thespian festival along with individual performances by ITS members

• Quixotica -our student written and directed short play festival auditions open to all AHS/SILSA students

• Advanced Theatre classes perform a Spring Production (every other year in conjunction with Adv. Dance and Musical Theatre Classes)
