Mission of the Asheville High School Theatre Booster Club:
To promote the advancement of the Asheville High theatre department (serving both Asheville High and SILSA students) by supporting activities of the theatre program, student-actors, and crew members through creating opportunities and educational experiences.
The organization is organized and operated exclusively for the charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code pursuant to the provisions of the Nonprofit Public Corporation Law of the State of the North Carolina.
Current and ongoing needs/gifts:
(Stocking up at home? Buy a few extra and send them in with your student as a donation).
A scissor or vertical lift for lighting on stage (19 ft height)
Gift cards to Target, Amazon, Lowes, Goodwill, local thrift stores
Kleenex, hairspray, hair gel, curling irons, hot rollers, eyeliner, face wipes, deodorant, fabric spray, Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer
4'x8' boards of plywood
Duct tape, cordless drill with battery
Monetary donations are also always needed and welcomed.
