ABOUT ME
Welcome to my class! I hope you all had a wonderful winter break. My name is Chelsea Fischer and I am Team Bison's 8th-grade science teacher.
This is my first year teaching and I could not be happier that I am starting my career at Asheville Middle School. I grew up in Philadelphia, Pa. I have been in Asheville for over six years and have made it my home. I love being surrounded by our beautiful mountains and many ecosystems.
I received my BS in Environmental Studies, as well as, my license to teach 6th-9th grade science from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. I am excited to start my career as a teacher at AMS. I look forward to getting to know the students, staff, and school community, and I am eager to teach science to our wonderful students!
How to get to our class
For live classes students will go to meet.google.com and enter the below code for their block. For example, if Susan is in my block 2, she would go to meet.google.com, click join a meeting, and enter AMSMcHone2. (I did not want to change the codes half way through the year, so they are the same.)
