Bill VanCleve's AP Government class had the pleasure of zooming with Shane Harris a writer for The Atlantic.
Will Smith's Suspense and Horror and Heidi Freeman's creative writing class had the chance to hear Andrew K. Clark speak about his book: Edgar.
Ellie Huber from Americorps taught a lesson to students about animals in WNC and resilience. Then students from Heidi Freeman's creative writing class worked with students from Kristina Shriver's art class to create their own fable.
Every two weeks Ms. Bunce brings her freshman into the library. We learned how to access SORA and check out audio books. We also read about Earth Day and made tissue paper earths to put in the windows.
Ms. Baer's students come every 4 weeks. For our last lesson of the year we read about the importance of friendship and made friendship bracelets.
Wiltse's and Montecalvo's English I classes participated in Smart Research in the Digital age: learning how and why to use the CRAAP test. Students were shown how to access the school's databases in order to do academic research for a final project.

The back of library is the space that is hosting monthly staff potlucks, on 3.13 we celebrated Pi Day.
