The  5K and the 10.4K start and finish at the former Ripton Elementary School (now known as the Ripton Municipal Building).  They separate after about 100 yards. The 5K is an out-and-back; the 10K is a loop run in a clockwise direction in odd years and a counter-clockwise direction in even years.
