In many cases unless they are new or they have not used it in 2+years they will probably have an account already linked to their school email address. Get them to go to www.wevideo.com to see.
If they do not have an account or for students who have created a free account but have not connected it to the district license follow the information in the video and the code and link the video mentions can be found here to give to students.
