Film Festival 2021

On May 30th, 2021, Vox Cinemas at Marina Mall sponsored the third annual 2021 UAE Student Film Festival. After being derailed in 2020 by the pandemic, this was the first year that we were able to have the festival in an actual movie theater again and it was a great opportunity to celebrate the work of students at the American Community School of Abu Dhabi.

Though the theater was only at 30% capacity, it was full of students and we were able to see some of the spectacular work from these budding filmmakers. Thanks to Emelita, Elton, and the entire team at Vox Cinemas (both the theater and the headquarters) for contributing their space to the festival.
