ESL 2

This is a course for students approaching a higher level of upper-intermediate to advanced English proficiency. Students in this class will apply advanced grammar structures and academic vocabulary to increasingly demanding reading, writing, listening and speaking activities. Thematically based units include but are not limited to: healthy living, nature vs. nurture, human rights and expression through art. Upon successful completion of the course, students exit the EFL/ESL Program. (This course corresponds to the B2 level of CEFR)

Prerequisite: Successful completion of ESL 1 for returning students and/or appropriate score on the ACS Athens Placement Test for new students.Â
