American Christian School is committed to the safety of our students, especially when it comes to using online resources. For this reason, instruction in appropriate online behavior and digital citizenship including social media interactions, cyber-bullying awareness, and protection of personal information is taught with vigilance across our curriculum.  

We realize there are many excellent online educational resources available that would benefit our students and we seek to balance their value with the protection of your child’s privacy and personal information. 

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) is a law created and managed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). It applies to website and app developers and is designed to create protections for the privacy of children under 13 years of age.  Each resource found on this page contains a link to a privacy policy, which describes how that website collects and uses student data. 

We encourage you to explore each of these websites and applications to review the individual privacy policies. As American Christian School evaluates other online resources that meet privacy standards, we will continue to update this list of websites. We encourage you to check back periodically for the most updated information.
